Väderögruppen is looking for a passionate and engaged Marketing Manager and Booking Receptionist who wants to help develop and promote our unique destination to guests around the world. Väderögruppen operates the Väderöarna destination, located in the beautiful and pristine archipelago off Sweden's west coast, where nature and tranquility are at the forefront. Here, we offer our guests a unique experience featuring good food, accommodation, and activities that take your mind off everyday life. We strive to provide a memorable and personal experience for our guests, and we are now looking for you to help us market this gem.

Responsibilities:

As Marketing Manager and Booking Receptionist, you will have significant responsibility for driving and developing our communications and booking systems. Your main tasks will include:

• Marketing:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase the visibility of Väderöarna.
  • Create and distribute content through our digital channels (website, social media, newsletters, etc.).
  • Plan and execute campaigns and events to attract both new and returning guests.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities.
• Booking and Service:
  • Manage bookings via phone, email, and our booking system.
  • Provide professional and personalized service to our guests and answer questions regarding our services.
  • Administer and update the booking system to ensure accurate and smooth booking management.
  • Communicate with guests before, during, and after their stay to ensure high service quality.
  • Handle logistics planning, such as boat transport to and from the island.
  • Perform general office administration.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in marketing and/or booking within the tourism industry, preferably with a focus on hotels or restaurants.
• Has experience working with social media and digital marketing.
• Is comfortable using booking systems and other digital tools.
• Is self-motivated, organized, and has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Has good communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English.
• Is creative and capable of creating engaging content and campaigns.
• Is passionate about providing guests with the best possible experience and has a service-oriented attitude.
• Is proactive and solution-oriented.

Employment Level: 75–100%

Location: The primary workplace will be our office in Hamburgsund, but there is also the possibility to work on Väderöarna, west coast, Sweden.
