Procurement Specialist for Bostadsstiftelsen Platen

About the Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you lead procurement processes in accordance with the Swedish Public Procurement Act (LOU) and ensure that Platen's purchasing and contract processes are carried out in a business-like, legally correct, and sustainable manner.

The role involves close collaboration with various parts of the business, where you act as a support and advisor in matters concerning procurement, contracts, and purchasing processes. You are responsible for coordinating and executing procurements, drafting and reviewing contracts, and following up on compliance. You also contribute to developing and streamlining the company's routines and processes within procurement.

You report to the Property Manager and are based at Platen's office in Motala.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute procurements in accordance with LOU.
• Draft, review, and follow up on contracts.
• Ensure good contract compliance and business-like conduct.
• Provide support and advice in procurement and contract matters.
• Contribute to the development and streamlining of processes and working methods.
• Collaborate with various business functions on procurement-related issues.
• Contribute to developing a long-term and sustainable purchasing operation.

Who are you?

Platen is looking for you who has post-secondary education in areas such as procurement, law, economics, purchasing, logistics, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You have experience with public procurement and good knowledge of LOU. We would like you to have worked with procurements within property, construction, installation, or technology-related operations and have an understanding of construction contracts.

To succeed in the role, you need to be confident in independently driving procurements from needs analysis to contract signing and follow-up. You combine structure and attention to detail with good communication skills and a business-like approach.

We would like you to have

• Experience with public procurement according to LOU.
• Knowledge of procurement law.
• Experience with construction law.
• Experience working in digital procurement systems.
• Experience from the property, construction, installation, or technology industry.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious

• Experience from the public housing sector or municipal operations.
• Project management experience.
