About the Role

We are seeking a Production Coordinator for Stillströms Ytbehandling who is passionate about good customer relations, quality, and profitability. In the role of Production Coordinator within the painting operations, you will work with planning, optimization, and preparation of manufacturing processes. The role involves translating construction drawings into concrete manufacturing instructions and ensuring that products are manufactured as efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively as possible. You will negotiate and draw up contracts and develop existing customer relationships.

You are based in Linköping and work closely with a production team of 15 employees in painting/preparation, reporting to the Production Manager at Stillströms Ytbehandling.

The position is an expansion recruitment on a full-time basis, and the start date can be adjusted to your current notice period. All questions regarding the position are answered by the responsible recruitment consultant.

Main Responsibilities

The role involves stimulating and varied tasks in a dynamic work environment.

• Process and develop customer relationships
• Create and follow up on quotations based on drawings and customer requirements
• Calculate time, capacity, and paint usage for quotations
• Negotiate and draw up contracts
• Ensure correct handover to production
• Drive improvement work for the new business system in production

Requirements:

• Experience with reading drawings and production processes
• Ability to calculate time, materials, and costs
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Good English skills, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
