Hillerstorpsskolan is a school for grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9) with approximately 200 students in grades F-6 and approximately 100 students in grades 7-9.

Teachers are divided into work teams. There is continuous cooperation between the different staff categories. Staff meet regularly for joint conferences for grades F-9. Thanks to the proximity to each other and shared staff rooms, there are good opportunities for dialogue and contact across the old stage boundaries, as well as short decision-making paths and closeness between employees and management. An important resource for the operations is the student health team, consisting of a school counselor, principal, school nurse, special education teacher, and study and career counselor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach Spanish in grades 6-9. The role also includes daily administration and contact with students, guardians, student welfare staff, and colleagues. You will share homeroom teacher responsibilities with a colleague.

We are looking for you who have a relational approach and clear leadership in the classroom. You keep the student in focus and work with guidance and stimulation in the classroom to meet students at both group and individual levels. You are comfortable using compensatory aids in your work to meet students' needs, and digital tools are a natural part of your teaching. You are well-versed in grading and assessment.

You see the benefits of collegial learning and collaborate willingly with colleagues and other professions to develop the work, which is part of the school's systematic quality work. You recognize that cooperation and shared vision benefit the student's development. You also see that good collaboration with guardians is a strength when working for the student's best interest.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a degree and teaching license with eligibility to teach Spanish in grades 6-9. We would appreciate if you have previous experience working as a teacher, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply.

We place great emphasis on social competence and the ability to meet students and collaborate with colleagues and other staff.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-06 or according to agreement.
