Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher at Finnvedens Gymnasium, you are expected to have clear leadership skills, good pedagogical competence, and an understanding of your mission with the students' development and goal achievement in focus.

You provide support to individual students or smaller groups of students and serve as a consultative support to teachers.

Together with the school's other professionals, you will work purposefully and systematically to create accessible and good learning environments for our students.

As a special needs teacher, you have an important role in the school's joint student health work.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are a qualified special needs teacher with a focus on mathematics, and secondarily for you who are a qualified mathematics teacher with interest and experience in meeting students who need support.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and value your ability to meet students based on their different needs, as well as your positive and engaged personality. It is important that you are creative, flexible, clear, responsive, and a person who dares to take initiative.

You collaborate easily with others and see it as a matter of course to have an open and good dialogue with both guardians and colleagues.

Conditions

The position will be filled subject to necessary decisions being made. We apply individual salary setting.

Department of Children and Education. Our department is responsible for preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adult education, and cultural schools in the municipality.
