Ribbaskolan F-6 is located in Gränna with approximately 250 students. We have beautiful, functional premises in a picturesque and inspiring environment, between Grännaberget and Lake Vättern. The school also includes an after-school center. In our school district, Kumlabyskolan on Visingsö is also included.

Ribbaskolan is situated in an area rich in culture, leisure activities, and nature experiences, providing the best possible conditions for a pleasant school environment. Your competence

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and have a teaching degree for instruction in grades 4-6 of the comprehensive school, with basic qualifications in Swedish, Mathematics, and English. We view positively those with a broad education and qualifications in several subjects. You who have not yet received your certification or are at the end of your education are, of course, also welcome to apply. Knowledge and experience in working with practical-aesthetic subjects is meritorious. Basic IT competence is a requirement.

It is important that you have the ability to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is also important to be a good role model, have clear expectations for students, and be proactive and driving in the pedagogical work. You must have the ability to see students' different needs, take into account their individual prerequisites, and help students grow, develop, and achieve good results. Being confident in the teacher role and feeling pride in your work are also important qualities.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

From March 1, 2026, extended register checks were introduced for persons who are to work with children. This means you will need to submit an additional extract prior to employment. Before hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching certificate. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching certificate obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
