As the Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR), you are responsible for ensuring that rehabilitation efforts within the municipality's healthcare services are conducted in accordance with current legislation, regulations, and national guidelines. The assignment is comprehensive, independent, and strategic, with a focus on quality, patient safety, and operational development.

You play a central role in creating structure and ensuring that working methods and processes maintain high quality. The role involves close collaboration with, among others, the Responsible Nurse (MAS), Social Responsible Coordinator (SAS), operational managers, and licensed personnel within rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

In the role of MAR, you are responsible for monitoring, developing, and quality-assuring the rehabilitation operations in the municipality. You work on creating, implementing, and monitoring guidelines, routines, and processes, as well as analyzing deviations, care injuries, and risks related to rehabilitation.

You actively participate in systematic quality and patient safety work and serve as a professional support to managers and licensed personnel. The assignment also includes collaboration with Region Skåne and other external actors.

Who are you?

To succeed in this assignment, you need to be confident in your professional role and able to work independently with a structured approach. You have strong analytical skills and can see the bigger picture in complex issues. You communicate clearly and pedagogically and have good collaboration skills. The role requires a consultative approach where you support and guide the operations.

Qualifications:

• Licensure as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
• Several years of experience in rehabilitation
• Experience in municipal healthcare
• Good knowledge of the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), the Patient Safety Act, and relevant regulations. Experience in quality and development work is an advantage.

The Health and Healthcare Department is responsible for initiatives within home healthcare and rehabilitation. The initiatives are carried out by nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, who also delegate to care personnel in other operational areas based on their profession.
