With the new activity requirement, which comes into effect on July 1st, we will be receiving a large number of participants this autumn, which is why we are now recruiting more colleagues.

The activity requirement is a new condition in the Social Services Act, meaning that individuals receiving social assistance must participate in activities. The Matching Group will be responsible for work-integrated positions as well as job-seeking activities.

We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not wait to submit your application!

Your role with us

As a Job Coordinator in the Matching Group, you work to enable more people who are currently outside the labor market to gain employment or pursue studies. You achieve this by coordinating and developing individualized interventions such as labor market placements, internships, study visits, and other job-preparatory activities. The assignment is based on a strong belief in people's own potential and ability to develop. You meet participants with different needs and conditions and work in a motivating and coaching manner to strengthen their path toward self-sufficiency. The work may also involve planning and leading group activities in the form of job-seeking activities.

An important part of the role is collaborating on individual cases together with other authorities and actors, primarily social services, the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan). You contribute a holistic perspective and work systematically to create coordinated and sustainable solutions for the participant.

You are a central resource in the administration's contacts with the business community. The work involves initiating, developing, and maintaining networks, as well as collaborating with employers and other relevant parties in the labor market. The purpose is to highlight and market the municipality's prioritized target groups and job seekers' competencies, while simultaneously identifying employers' current and future labor needs. You actively work on matching participants with employers and contribute to long-term relationships.

The role of Job Coordinator is characterized by a changing assignment, where new needs and conditions can arise quickly. You see changes as opportunities and take an active role in developing the operations. The work requires you to work proactively and independently, take initiative within given frameworks and regulations, be flexible, solution-oriented, and development-driven. For us, it is important that we hire the right person, which is why your personal qualities weigh heavily for the position. The employer strives for a balanced gender distribution in the workplace.
