About the Role

You will step into a central role in a high-tech industrial operation that is experiencing strong growth. Here, supplier quality is crucial for securing the quality of purchased products, materials, and subsystems, while you also contribute to developing working methods and collaborations throughout the value chain.

You work closely with procurement, production, quality, and suppliers to create stable processes, follow up on quality outcomes, and drive improvements where they make the biggest difference. This role suits you if you want to combine operational quality work with significant influence in a technically advanced environment.

Responsibilities
  • You ensure that purchasing strategy, purchasing policy, and associated procedures are implemented in practice.
  • You ensure the quality of purchased articles, materials, and subsystems throughout the entire supplier chain.
  • You participate in and establish purchasing and control committees as needed.
  • You conduct supplier and product audits and follow up on results, deviations, and improvement actions.
  • You monitor supplier quality performance and drive corrective actions when set targets are not met.
  • You drive improvement programs together with suppliers to increase quality, stability, and delivery capability.
  • You handle complaints for materials that do not meet specifications and review suppliers' responses and action plans.
  • You collaborate closely with production quality regarding deviations reported from production.
  • You support less experienced colleagues and can take on a mentor role within supplier quality.
  • Travel is a natural part of the role.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or related quality roles.
  • Extensive experience in traditional quality work.
  • Experience in production quality and/or supplier quality.
  • Practical experience with established quality tools and methods.
  • Knowledge and experience of LEAN, Six Sigma, PPAP, and MSA.
  • Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with measuring technology.
  • Relevant higher education or university degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
  • Good habit of working cross-functionally and creating strong collaborations with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive improvement work in a structured and results-oriented manner.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).
