We are looking to expand our Jakkal team with an experienced Supplier Quality Manager.

As an SQM, you will work in a varied and stimulating environment, with internal contacts across several departments and functions, as well as external contacts at our customers' sites. Our customers range from small to large enterprises, with several being world leaders in their respective fields.

The role requires good knowledge and breadth within the quality field, preferably with experience related to suppliers and production.

Your responsibilities

Examples of tasks include:

• Establish good collaboration regarding quality work with the customer.
• Conduct quality audits internally and at supplier sites.
• Ensure that customer quality requirements are met and define appropriate quality requirements for suppliers.
• Drive corrective actions and improvement programs together with suppliers.
• Act as a moderator in internal cross-functional investigations.
• Participate in and create purchasing/control committees as needed.
• Handle complaints for materials that do not meet specifications and review suppliers' complaint responses.
• Handle deviations reported in production.
• Understand standard requirements and convey the meaning of these requirements to the business.
• Travel may be required within Sweden and Europe, depending on the location of suppliers.

Your profile

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in engineering or other relevant education, or equivalent work experience in the quality field.
• Experience in quality work and practical knowledge of classic quality tools such as PPAP, MSA, etc.
• Experience with LEAN.
• Ability to read drawings, understanding form and position tolerances, and measurement technology.
• Experience working with various problem-solving methods.
• Six Sigma experience is an advantage.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

We are looking for someone with an interest in quality issues and a desire to develop within the quality field. Positive experience in areas such as design, production, or project management is a plus.
