About the Company
Our production facilities are located in Karlskoga and Filipstad and consist of approximately 85 CNC-controlled machining centers with up to 5 axes. In addition, our facilities feature modern equipment for non-destructive testing and optical measurement. Given today's rapid pace of change, it is natural for us to move forward and develop continuously, while constantly ensuring that we possess the right competence. Our customers are located on a global market across several segments. We deliver products primarily to the defense industry, but also to various industries in the civilian sector, which places high demands on us as a supplier. Therefore, we are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Your Responsibilities
As a Measuring Room Operator at PartnerTech Karlskoga AB, you will have a varied and technically challenging daily routine where you play a central role in ensuring the quality of our manufactured components. You work closely with production and contribute expertise in metrology, analysis, and quality assurance. Together with colleagues in production, engineering, and management, you work both operationally and supportively to ensure we maintain the highest precision at every step. Through your work, you create stable processes, safer flows, and high customer satisfaction – in short: you make a real difference!
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Metrology and Component Evaluation: Measure and evaluate components, create measurement reports, develop coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs, and fixture and rig components in measuring equipment.
- Production Support and Deviation Handling: Assist production with the interpretation of advanced measurement reports, report deviations to relevant teams, and contribute to appropriate corrective actions.
- Calibration and Equipment Responsibility: Perform calibrations of measuring machines and other measuring equipment, and ensure that measuring machines in both the measuring room and production function and are used correctly.
- Business Systems and Reporting: Work in Monitor, follow internal procedures, and contribute to the adherence of business systems and working methods.
Your Profile
This is an exciting opportunity for you who have experience from the manufacturing industry within metrology. Do you identify with traits such as being analytical, precise, and team-oriented? Perfect! Then you have good prerequisites for succeeding with us. We are looking for someone who thrives close to production, enjoys problem-solving, and has the ability to communicate technical matters clearly and supportively. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and have a natural sense for quality.
We would like you to have:
- Very good knowledge of production processes, blueprint reading, and metrology.
- Experience with form and position, profile writing, as well as surface roughness and roundness measurement.
- Good skills in Swedish and English.
- Experience with Calypso is a merit.
The work is scheduled on a two-shift system.
