Your Role

Your formal role will be PoC (Point of Contact), meaning you will serve as the section's contact person for various types of inquiries received. This may include questions from production or purchasing regarding quality, requirements, materials, defect investigations, etc. Your main tasks will be to receive, register, and distribute these cases to the appropriate employees, as well as follow up on them. You will work closely with another PoC and the section manager.

In addition to the PoC role, you will handle the same types of cases as the rest of the section, which involves working with the design, development, and maintenance of our 84 mm grenades. You will follow the products through the entire chain, from idea to finished product, where product care becomes a natural part of your duties. You will, among other things, conduct verification and qualification tests in both laboratory and field environments, providing a varied workday. Documentation, requirement specification, and compliance are also central parts of the role.

The work is characterized by a high degree of responsibility, which gives you the freedom to plan your own work. Your personal interests can also influence the direction of your role.

We will long-term build your competence regarding fuses (safety and initiation systems), as we do not expect prior knowledge in this specific area. The fuse is the component in our products that initiates the effect when all arming conditions are met. It is therefore a crucial part of the safety and reliability of our products. The work requires precision and a high level of responsibility, both for safety during work and for the delivery of commitments.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is forward-looking and outgoing, with good communication and collaboration skills. We believe you are a Master of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, technical physics, or have an education/experience deemed relevant. You have experience with design in a 3D tool. Experience in design and/or systems engineering, as well as experience from customer service or sales, is a plus.

You have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
