You will step into a central role in a business-critical IT environment where stable and secure container infrastructure is crucial for modern Kubernetes solutions to function in practice. Here, you become the link between the underlying infrastructure platform and the teams that build and run the Kubernetes platform. The focus is on developing, standardizing, and managing a robust data center platform with high demands for availability, security, and efficient resource utilization.

You work closely with platform, DevOps, and development teams and have significant influence on how the technical foundation is designed and further developed. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to combine deep infrastructure competence with modern container platforms in a complex environment where the right technical decisions make a real difference.

• You drive the design, establishment, and management of the infrastructure supporting the Kubernetes and container platform.
• You ensure a stable, secure, and scalable platform in the data center environment.
• You work with virtualization platforms, primarily VMware-based solutions.
• You develop and manage the platform's network, storage, and compute components.
• You are responsible for sizing, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
• You handle operations, patching, and lifecycle management of the platform.
• You define standards for how Kubernetes clusters are built, deployed, and managed.
• You collaborate closely with teams using the infrastructure and contribute to improvements within the platform, security, and operations.

• Experience working in infrastructure, data center, or platform environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere.
• Experience designing and operating Kubernetes in on-premises or hybrid environments.
• Practical experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or VMware Tanzu.
• Good understanding of data center components such as compute, storage, and networking.
• Experience with capacity planning, scaling, and resource optimization.
• Knowledge of data center networks, such as VLANs, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Experience with operations, patching, and lifecycle management of platforms.
• Ability to document and establish technical standards.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted).

• Experience with VMware Tanzu or Red Hat OpenShift in production environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience automating platform installations and cluster provisioning.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or private cloud platforms.
• Understanding of how Kubernetes platforms are used by DevOps and development teams.
• Experience with observability solutions for monitoring, logging, and metrics.
• Knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN, vSAN, and CSI drivers.
• Experience with ITIL or other established IT operations frameworks.
• Experience with security work related to platforms and infrastructure.
• Background from environments with high demands for stability, availability, and operational reliability.
• Knowledge of security in the infrastructure layer, such as segmentation and access controls.
