Your Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer here, you will become part of the Ground Combat business area, where we develop technical solutions for land-based systems at the absolute forefront of technology.

You work through the entire product lifecycle – from concept development and innovation to testing, verification, and further development. What makes this role unique is the close connection between design and practical verification, where you actively participate in tests and live-fire exercises, seeing your solutions work in reality.

You combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving and work in an environment characterized by collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Examples of tasks:

• Create high-quality 3D models and drawing documentation that enable efficient production
• Drive technical studies and contribute to developing innovative and competitive solutions
• Participate in and contribute to technical forums and workshops that drive development forward
• Plan and perform tests and verifications, including live-fire exercises, to ensure function, performance, and quality
• Develop and evaluate prototypes, including using modern 3D printing
• Improve and further develop working methods, processes, and methods
• Collaborate with functions across the organization, such as production, purchasing, and calculation
• Contribute to research and development projects with a direct link to our products

You work primarily in Catia and 3DExperience, as these are our CAD systems.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in technology and want to take overall responsibility for design – from idea to finished product.

You are structured and meticulous, but also curious and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others and are confident in your competence, with the ability to make technical decisions and drive your work forward.

We believe you have:

• A university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• A few years of experience in design, preferably linked to product development, production technology, or quality
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
