Your Role

As a Project Manager at Saab, you will have the opportunity to lead complex and technically advanced projects in close collaboration with specialists from various parts of the business. Our projects vary in scope and content, but what they have in common is that they place high demands on collaboration, structure, and clear leadership.

Depending on the business area and project, your responsibilities may include:

• Project management from concept and development to delivery
• Planning, monitoring, and controlling of time, cost, and quality
• Risk and resource management
• Leading cross-functional teams within development, production, quality, procurement, and other specialist areas
• Coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Change and improvement work
• International collaborations and projects

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a confident and engaged leader with a genuine interest in technology and people. You have the ability to create structure in complex contexts, build trust, and drive work forward towards common goals.

You are communicative, solution-oriented, and thrive when collaborating with different competencies and stakeholders. At the same time, you are flexible and can adapt to changing conditions in a business that is developing at a rapid pace.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in project management within technology, development, or industrial operations
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have experience in product development, international projects, or established project management methods and tools.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
