In the role of Automation Technician with a specialization in OT, you report directly to our Maintenance Manager.

About the Role

As an Automation Technician and OT Specialist, you will be part of a team of seven people. The group also includes electricians and maintenance mechanics. Together, you will create good conditions for production to operate with high safety, efficiency, and availability.

Your days will be varied; you will perform planned interventions, address urgent defects, and drive improvement processes regarding automation in our production. You will also play a central role in physical security, asset inventory, and continuously evaluating and improving the protection level of the OT environment. A key responsibility is coordinating work around cybersecurity and operational technology (OT) so that the factory is prepared for current and future cyber threats. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the local IT department and other internal and external parties.

Examples of other tasks include:

• Programming of PLCs, operator panels, frequency converters, and servo drives in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
• Commissioning of automation solutions and control panels within production, as well as those connected to our building.
• Performing service, troubleshooting, and acting as a resource and support for new installations and projects. You will also work with electrical designs and read/update CAD drawings.
• Maintaining a high level of OT security in collaboration with IT. You identify and manage cyber risks and ensure that Mondi's guidelines for OT security are followed at our facility in Örebro.

You, the Maintenance Manager, and your colleagues are constantly working to improve and streamline maintenance work, which involves many internal contacts, with your group, but also with various people working in production and contacts with different external partners.

In this role, you work daytime hours.

You are engaged, enjoy a varied daily routine, and are stimulated by problem-solving, where you always try to see opportunities instead of problems and obstacles.

For us, it is important that you want to be in a business where we have fun at work.

You are accustomed to working in various IT systems such as VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, and have a basic understanding of network infrastructure. You speak and write Swedish fluently and are also accustomed to taking in some information in English.

We primarily work with Siemens drives, so we consider it an advantage if you have experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
