About the role
Do you want to work in a technical industrial environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are in focus? We are currently looking for two measuring technicians for a consulting assignment at Epiroc in Örebro. The assignment is full-time, and the positions are scheduled for either permanent night shift or permanent weekend shift.
In the role of measuring technician at Epiroc, you have a central function in production with a focus on quality assurance and metrology. You collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering to ensure that both in-house manufactured parts, subcontracted components, and purchased parts meet the requirements specified in drawings and standards.
Responsibilities
• Measure and inspect parts using manual and established measuring methods.
• Perform quality control of incoming goods.
• Conduct and compile product revisions.
• Pre-set, calibrate, and perform maintenance on measuring equipment and torque wrenches.
• Handle external calibration when necessary.
• Create and prepare D-measuring software programs.
• Participate in 5S work and document control.

Requirements for the position:
• You have a vocational education in workshop technology of at least 3 years with a focus on CNC-controlled machines, or alternatively, several years of experience in similar tasks.
• Good knowledge of reading drawings, including form and position tolerances.
• Good knowledge of method work.
• Good computer skills, preferably in business systems such as M3 and MS Office (meritorious).
• Experience with 3D measuring and programming of measuring programs.
• Experience with calibration and handling of measuring equipment.
• Previous work experience in manufacturing industry.
• Experience with quality revisions and deviation management.
