Do you want to help build a new production area at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga? We are now looking for a Production Manager who will play a key role in establishing structure, working methods, and teams in a growing operation.

As a Production Manager, you lead the daily work in the area regarding assembly and testing, and actively work to develop, streamline, standardize, and ensure the quality of the operation. You will have great opportunities to influence working methods, structure, and culture as the operation is established and developed, a unique opportunity to help shape the future of production in the area. You will also be part of the area's management group along with other support functions and production managers.

As a Production Manager, your leadership is characterized by creating good conditions for the operation to take its own responsibility for quality-assured and efficient deliveries, with high customer satisfaction as a natural goal. You are motivated by developing operations and thrive in an environment where you have the opportunity to influence, create structure, and drive improvements.

The role requires that you have the ability to handle multiple parallel tasks simultaneously and function as a natural coordinator, where you coordinate resources, priorities, and communication to ensure a smooth and successful working method. You have a holistic perspective and the ability to create momentum even in an operation that is under development and growth.

As a leader, you are clear, engaged, and keen on developing the operation and your employees. You create trust around you and have the ability to make people grow through participation, responsibility, and collaboration.

Merits:

• Previous leadership experience and experience of working in a management group
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and testing
• Experience regarding the application of quality systems and standards
• Worked with Lean and streamlined processes
• Basic knowledge of IFS and the Office package

To succeed in the role, you should have high drive, be meticulous, have good collaboration skills, and be a team player who works proactively to facilitate work for yourself and your colleagues. You are structured, proactive, and enjoy turning ideas into concrete results. Great attention will be paid to your personal qualities and experiences.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
