You will play a key role in the development of marine products and systems in an advanced technical environment within the defense industry. Here, you will work with mechanical design throughout the entire product development process, from early concepts and design choices to further development and technical documentation.

You will become part of a design group with close collaboration between designers, specialists, and project teams, giving you good opportunities to influence solutions and drive technical issues forward. • You work with mechanical design within marine products and systems.
• You participate in development and design work throughout the entire product development process.
• You create and further develop design solutions from concept and design to finished technical documentation.
• You collaborate closely with other designers, specialists, and project teams to ensure that the solutions meet requirements for function, quality, and manufacturability.
• You contribute a structured approach to technical issues and ongoing development work.

• You are a university-educated mechanical engineer specializing in precision mechanical design, or have equivalent relevant work experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a mechanical designer.
• You have experience in mechanical design work in a technical development environment.
• You have a good ability to work in a structured and independent manner.
• You have a good ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional project teams.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted).

• Experience from the defense industry, marine operations, or other technically advanced industries.
• Experience in precision mechanical design.
• Experience working in project-oriented development organizations.
