Welcome to the Strategic Development Department within the Health, Care and Social Care Administration in the City of Malmö – a department working long-term to ensure that elderly care can meet the needs of Malmö residents, both today and in the future. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of one of the city's most important operations and help create an easier daily life for tens of thousands of Malmö residents.
The department is divided into three parts: the competence center, strategic health and medical care development, and the secretariat. You will become part of a competent team working with administration-wide assignments. Among your closest colleagues are strategists, controllers, developers, employees within research and development, and civil servants with close ties to the political process. Together, we work to develop a sustainable and future-proof organization that meets both today's needs and tomorrow's challenges.

Job Responsibilities
As a Development Secretary, you will have a special focus on committee preparation, handling of remiss (official inquiries), and investigative work. The role involves having a central function in preparing and quality-assuring materials for the committees' decision-making. You are responsible for compiling and preparing cases and ensuring that the decision-making materials maintain high quality throughout the entire process.
In addition to working with committee preparation, you will contribute to development issues and projects together with colleagues, where your analytical skills and structured approach become valuable assets. The role includes conducting both short-term and more comprehensive investigations as well as producing decision-making materials for the administration leadership and committees.
You will work both independently and together with colleagues on administration-wide assignments. The work also includes leading and participating in development initiatives, analyzing and presenting information, data, and statistics, as well as producing materials and presentations for management meetings, committees, and other forums.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- An academic degree of at least 180 ECTS credits within a field that the employer deems relevant for the position
- Work experience from investigative work in a politically governed organization
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Experience using the computer as a work tool and aid, as well as the willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new programs and systems
The following are meritorious:
- Experience working with organizational development
- Experience planning and conducting presentations, lectures, or workshops
- Experience working with change management
- Experience working with environmental scanning (external analysis)
