The Assessment Unit is the clinic's smallest outpatient unit and has a broad mandate that includes assessment, consultations with care partners, telephone accessibility, referral portal, and more. Here, a stable group of nurses, psychologists, assistant nurses, and specialist doctors work together. Additionally, AT (basic training) and ST (specialist training) doctors are placed with us. We are now looking for another specialist doctor to join our team.

Your main responsibility will be to assess neuropsychiatric issues in a team together with our psychologists.

As we do not have a treatment mandate, we currently do not manage patient medication, sick leave, etc., at our unit.

About us

Psychiatry Centre Södertälje is a result unit within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area (SLSO). Within the operations, we have units at the Södertälje hospital area and external premises in Södertälje. The mandate is to provide specialist adult psychiatric care for residents over 18 years old in the municipalities of Södertälje, Salem, and Nykvarn.

Conditions

In patient-facing roles within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area:

- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
