Botvids Primary Care Centre is a small, privately owned clinic with a care agreement with Region Stockholm. Located in Hallunda Centre, the clinic was opened in May 2023 by a group of specialist doctors and psychologists with years of experience working in Hallunda. We are well acquainted with the area and its population, placing great emphasis on good treatment, continuity, and accessibility. In addition to Swedish, our staff speaks several other languages, including Arabic, Turkish, Syriac, Cantonese, Mandarin, Polish, Finnish, Sorani, Serbian, Thai, Pashto, Dari, Urdu, and English. The clinic is appreciated by patients, as reflected in excellent results in the National Patient Survey. We are growing rapidly in terms of registered patients and currently have approximately 5,500 patients on our list.

About the position:

As a nurse/primary care nurse with us, you will be part of a small multidisciplinary team working closely together to provide our patients with the best possible assessment and care. You will primarily work at our clinic but may also work in home care when needed. The role includes standard tasks for a primary care centre, where you have significant scope to influence processes and routines. A large part of the work as a nurse/primary care nurse involves triage and advice to patients via phone, 1177, and in-person visits. In the care of acutely ill patients, nurses and doctors work in teams, where the nurse performs an initial assessment and consults the on-call doctor if necessary. The clinic has a well-functioning psychosocial team, ensuring good accessibility to assessment and treatment for our patients.

We have an open work climate and round patients between professional groups daily to improve the conditions for using our resources in the best possible way. You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, primary care nurses, specialists in general practice, BT/ST doctors, assistant nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, administrators, and medical secretaries.

The clinic is open on weekdays (excluding holidays) from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, meaning you will have varying working hours, sometimes starting at 7:00 AM and sometimes finishing at 5:00 PM. Part-time positions may be available upon request. We value our employees highly and offer good opportunities for professional development in your role.

Minimum requirements for applying:

Completed education as a nurse, along with a Swedish nursing license. Since we are a small clinic, the role requires that you can work independently and feel confident in making your own medical assessments. Previous experience from working in primary care is meritorious.

You must be registered as a resident in Sweden and have good knowledge of Swedish in both written and spoken form, as well as the ability to communicate in English.

Ability to collaborate with other professional groups at a primary care centre and good social skills.

If you have any questions about the position, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].
