About the position

The neurology ward investigates and treats patients with various neurological diseases. Your task will be to create the best possible conditions for good care together with doctors, assistant nurses and other health professionals. Our assignment includes highly specialized neurological nursing and advanced medical treatment.

We have a special focus on patients with neuromuscular diseases where respiratory care is an important part of the treatment. At our clinic, patients with different levels of care are treated and you will work with checks of consciousness, breathing, circulation and neurological functions.

The department provides advanced neurological care and works, among other things, with NIV (non-invasive ventilation), cough machines, medication adjustments and intravenous treatments for various neurological conditions. Our highly specialized operations are carried out around the clock and are staff-intensive, which means that you always have the support of experienced colleagues.

We are looking for you who

• Have an empathetic approach and treat patients, relatives and colleagues with respect, sensitivity and care
• Find it easy to adapt to changed conditions in a business where the pace is high and the tasks vary
• Have good cooperation skills and enjoy working together with different professions to create the best possible care for the patient
• Have a great commitment to neurology and acute neurological care and always put the patient at the center
• Enjoy working in a business where you work both independently and together with others to achieve common goals

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Swedish nursing license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Good knowledge regarding respiratory aids
• Previous experience as a nurse in emergency care
