Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and assistance to people who have problems with alcohol, drugs, medication, or gambling. Our operations include acute and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized care. We are also a clinic that provides university healthcare as well as research and education.
The Workplace
The Addiction Clinic is a stable and highly appreciated clinic where work takes place in a cross-professional and cohesive team consisting of nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, unit manager, and psychologists. The clinic receives people with harmful use and/or dependence on alcohol, drugs, and medication.

Job Responsibilities
In your work as a nurse, you are responsible for your own patients and, in consultation with doctors, you perform assessment and treatment based on evidence-based methods. We use care plans to increase patient participation and to be able to follow up on the treatment's goals. Documentation takes place in the journal system Take Care.
Qualifications
We assume that you are a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry. You have worked as a nurse for a few years and feel confident in your role as a nurse. Experience in addiction and/or psychiatric care is meritorious.

Terms of Employment
Permanent position, full-time 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday. Start date according to agreement.

Beroendecentrum Stockholm applies alcohol and drug testing as well as extracts from the suspicion and criminal records register prior to new employment.
The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
In patient-related work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
