About Us

Skoga is a residential care home for the elderly operated directly by the City of Solna. The facility is located in a beautiful natural setting with a lovely garden in Huvudsta, Solna. Our profile focuses on gardening, nature, and outdoor activities, offering our residents a varied daily life with both individual and group activities. We have 100 apartments and approximately 120 employees. We are deeply committed to our residents and strive to make their daily lives as good as possible.

What does the job entail?

Standard duties include ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assessments, fitting and prescribing assistive devices, functional and activity assessments, and coaching staff in transfer techniques and rehabilitative working methods. Documentation is done in the Life Care journal system. Together with your colleague, you will have responsibility for rehabilitation for the residents at Skoga, as well as for our short-term and respite care units. The work consists largely of teamwork, but you must also be able to work independently.

Who are we looking for?

Your personal qualities are important to us. We are looking for a positive and flexible person who has a burning interest in elderly care and possesses good communication skills and a welcoming attitude. You need to be structured and good at organizing and following up on your work, but also be prepared to adapt plans when the operations change. To thrive in this role, you should enjoy taking initiative and starting activities. It is important that you can work independently but also enjoy teamwork.

In addition to the above, we require that you:

• are a licensed occupational therapist
• have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Clinical experience and experience in elderly care are meritorious but not mandatory.
