Are you a licensed psychologist with experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry or with neuropsychiatric assessments? BUP Neuropsychiatry Sydost is now looking for a psychologist for our clinic in our large, modern premises in Sickla.

BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of "En väg in" (One Way In) and seven neuropsychiatric clinics so far: Väst 1, Väst 2, Sydost, Nordväst, Nordost, Sydväst 1, and Sydväst 2 (under construction). All units are tasked with assessing children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric difficulties as well as treating children and young people with ADHD. Here, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries collaborate to provide our patients with accessible, efficient, and patient-focused care. The work environment at BUP Neuropsychiatry Sydost is characterized by a good work environment, high competence, and high quality.

The units work with medical treatment, assessments, and investigations where the issue is neuropsychiatric difficulties. The assignment also includes medical treatment.

Responsibilities

As a psychologist, your main responsibilities are to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents according to national guidelines and BUP Stockholm's process maps. You collaborate with doctors, write reports, and provide feedback to families and schools. You serve as a support for colleagues when assessing cases from your professional perspective as a psychologist. Collaboration with care partners and partners within and outside your own organization is also included.

You are part of a team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the ongoing development work of the activity. You are offered supervision together with other psychologists and have the opportunity to apply to participate in further education and conferences. Through feedback and ideas, you can make a big difference.

Possibility of remote work with administrative tasks and remote contacts, corresponding to approximately one day per week, if the activity allows.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. If you have relevant specialist training, experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, and/or experience working with neuropsychiatric assessments and treatment, this is meritorious.

Personal qualities

As a person, you are self-reliant, structured, work systematically to complete assessments, and are flexible in patient contact and collegially. You have very good collaboration skills and good judgment. If you are interested in the digitalization of care processes, this is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Employment type

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 in Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we are approximately 1,000 employees within BUP who meet more than 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families every year.

The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region:

  • Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control at employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Requires, in addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
