We are welcoming a Nursing Assistant within Anesthesia to the operating department in Trelleborg!

At the operating department in Trelleborg, we offer surgery within orthopedics for adults and children, maxillofacial surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT) operations, as well as dental surgery. The department performs day surgery procedures and inpatient procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Nursing Assistant with us, you have a very important role in the team. You work, among other things, inside the operating room where you assist both doctors and nurse anesthetists in their work. Additionally, you prepare and gather relevant equipment and materials for the current anesthesia and are responsible for cleaning and preparing the room for the next operation.

As a new employee, we offer you an induction program tailored to your needs, and you will be assigned a mentor to follow. We create an individual competence development plan together with you and offer continuous training days as well as other competence-enhancing educational opportunities.

Working hours are 40 hours per week, daytime only, and no on-call duties are included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a Nursing Assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. If you studied under the previous program structure, we prefer that it was with a focus on emergency care/healthcare. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. If you have previous experience working as a Nursing Assistant on an operating department, we consider this an advantage.

This is a position for you who has a positive attitude towards your work. You take responsibility for your tasks, have the ability to structure your approach yourself, and drive your work forward. Furthermore, you have a receptive and flexible attitude – you listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled even if the situation becomes stressful. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
