ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant on a temporary basis for our male client in Luleå, with good prospects for a permanent employment in the future.
The working hours are as follows:
Weekdays: 14:30 – 22:00
Weekends: 10:45 – 18:30 and 11:00 – 22:00
Night work may occur
Start date is by agreement, but we would appreciate it if you could start your introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a man in his 20s with autism. He needs your help, structure, and security in his daily life. Your main tasks involve:
Support with daily routines and household chores
Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
Being a pedagogical support and helping him understand and handle his surroundings

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and who have a natural ability to read and analyze others' needs. Great importance is placed on your personal suitability. As a person, you should be:
Calm and stable (creates security in the moment)
Receptive, proactive, and engaged
Solution-focused and skilled at reading situations
It is a great advantage if you have previous experience working with long-term strategies and preventive measures in your approach.

REQUIREMENTS
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with autism
Experience and knowledge in low-arousal approach (lågaffektivt bemötande)
Employment level: 1 temporary position with good prospects for permanent employment
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register control will cover both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
