Assistant Nurse for Heimdall Health Centre, Skellefteå

The Health and Medical Care Administration brings together primary care, dental care, and hospital care into a unified administration, organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Centre, the Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Centre for Surgical Operations, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units strive to provide good and accessible care.

Heimdall Health Centre is part of the West Primary Care Area, which also includes Erikslid, Boliden, and Norsjö health centres. Heimdall currently has approximately 12,000 registered patients, and around 35 staff members work at the unit. Heimdall is centrally located in newly renovated premises with easy access to restaurants, shops, and local public transport.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel safe.

Your tasks include sample collection, assisting doctors, suturing, and wound dressing changes. Audiograms, ECGs, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring are other common duties.

The work offers great variety in content and pace. We expect you to prioritize good patient interaction, actively work to develop relationships, and be positive towards improvement initiatives to develop the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a certified assistant nurse education. Since "assistant nurse" is a protected title, you must provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), or alternatively, an employment certificate that qualifies you under the National Board of Health and Welfare's transitional provisions, allowing you to use the title until June 30, 2033.

We would appreciate it if you have a few years of experience in the profession. Previous work in primary care and knowledge of the operational systems NCS Cross, Cosmic, and Ros/Bos are meritorious. Holding a spirometry certificate is also meritorious.

Good teamwork skills are crucial, and it is desirable that you are proactive, have good communication skills, and have an interest in emergency care. We are looking for someone who is meticulous and responsible. We believe you thrive with variety in work, have the ability to take significant personal responsibility, and want to be involved in developing our operations. You are confident in your profession and enjoy working in a team with other professional categories.
