Västerbotten. Musculoskeletal Center Umeå is responsible for Orthopedics in the northern healthcare region, which covers the four northernmost counties. The Musculoskeletal Center is divided into the sections Arthroplastics and Tumors, Faktum (foot, shoulder, soft knees, children), Trauma, and Spine, all of which perform thousands of patient visits, treatments, and surgical procedures annually.

The Musculoskeletal Center in Umeå is a University Healthcare Unit (USVE) where research and student supervision are a natural part of clinical daily life.

Within the Musculoskeletal Center Umeå, there is a clinic, inpatient ward, day surgery unit, administrative unit, and an orthopedic technical center. Our care is characterized by a holistic approach where many different professional categories are engaged in the patient's care process and collaborate for the best results, with the vision of keeping Norrland on its feet and in motion.

The Orthopedic Clinic is a department with high competence, a good atmosphere, and pleasant colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that create security for our patients.

The work involves standard clinic duties, including telephone advice and communication via 1177. Patient administrative tasks as well as planning and coordination of the clinic's operations are also part of the role.

After your initial training in the basic duties at the clinic, you will have the opportunity to specialize in one or more of our sections. This implies in-depth knowledge in the specified area as well as closer collaboration with doctors, administrators, and physiotherapists in the same section.

In this role, there is an opportunity to be involved in the development of the operations, and duties may change over time based on the needs of the organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in clinic work and/or orthopedics is meritorious.

To thrive in this role, we see that you appreciate varied work and have the ability to work both independently and together with other professions. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize are important, as the work may involve varying paces.
