Närhälsan Kungshamn Health Centre currently has approximately 4,000 registered patients and an engaged team of 25 employees from various professions. We also have training doctors and healthcare students who contribute to our dynamic work environment. We collaborate closely with Närhälsan rehabilitation clinic, as well as the region's midwife and youth clinic, all located under the same roof in our modern building. About the Job

Your main tasks will involve assessing and treating mental and behavioral health issues in line with the mission of primary care. The focus is on preventive and early interventions, based on common reasons for visiting a health centre. You will work based on the needs of the registered population, utilizing digital healthcare meetings, internet-based and group therapy, as well as physical individual visits.

We work according to primary care-oriented methods, which include high accessibility, stepped/stratified care, and collaboration with other professions and neighboring care providers. It is important that you have an interest in working in primary care, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues. Interventions range from psychoeducation and advice on self-care, to guided treatment with literature or internet therapy, to group therapy or individual treatment interventions. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, there is a requirement for the ability to vary the method and scope of treatment interventions.

You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the health centre in a continuous improvement process. Supervision of psychology candidates or PTP-psychologists may be relevant.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with Step 1 CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) competence; other orientations are also, of course, relevant. It is an advantage if you have experience in the following areas:

• Work as a psychologist at the primary care level
• Stepped/stratified care
• Internet-based psychological treatment
• Group therapy

We are looking for someone who is sensitive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. Through initiative and active engagement, you wish to participate in the development of operations and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health centre.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as much as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
