About Us

At Operation 3 Mölndal, specialized day surgery, short-term care, and some emergency activities are conducted. We operate during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. The unit has seven operating rooms, a recovery unit, and a care unit for pre- and postoperative care.

We offer a broad range of activities with opportunities for specialization. We perform surgeries in orthopedics (arthro and trauma), foot surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), general surgery, and maxillofacial surgery, in addition to collaborating with public dental care. We operate on both adults and children weighing from 10 kg.

What We Offer

At Operation 3, we aim for good teamwork with high patient flow and short turnover times. To achieve a good flow, our goal is to have 1.5 teams per room.

You will receive a thorough and individualized introduction and always have the support of experienced colleagues. There are opportunities for specialization, education, and development.

We work Monday to Friday, with all public holidays off and some additional days off. We offer a fixed schedule with possibilities for individual preferences. We have scheduled development time.

Responsibilities

Standard duties as a perioperative nurse, including responsibility for sterility and instrumentation during various procedures.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education in perioperative care. Previous experience in any of our specialties is meritorious but not an absolute requirement. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated perioperative nurses.

You are good at collaborating and see the team as a significant part of the work. We also look for a positive attitude that contributes to an open, accepting, and pleasant work climate. You are encouraged to be creative, structured, able to think outside the box, and able to convey suggestions and new ideas. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Clinical Base Year for New Graduates

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Base Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Base Year is mandatory and lasts during the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing guidance, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. Additionally, it includes service on at least two different wards to broaden your competence.

Foreign Qualifications

In the event of recruiting nurses/doctors with foreign qualifications/specialist certificates, the position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish qualification/specialist certificate.
