We are looking for a Nursing Assistant for our Sterile Processing Department!

As a nursing assistant or transporter, you are a crucial link in the work to prevent the spread of infection and prevent healthcare-associated infections. Your role is a prerequisite for achieving a good hygienic standard and increased patient safety in accordance with our goals. We are a service unit tasked with sterilizing instruments and medical technology products for hospitals, primary care, and dental care. Currently, we have eight employees, and you are welcome to join a cohesive work group with a pleasant working environment and a family atmosphere.

You will handle and quality-assure instruments throughout the entire workflow. Cleaning, disinfection, inspection, and maintenance of instruments, as well as sterilization and storage, are part of the daily work. As an employee here, you are also responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with established goals and that they develop in line with science, regulations, and the demands of the surrounding environment.

About You

For this position, we are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. If you are a nursing assistant and/or have previous professional experience as a transporter, we consider this advantageous. We are looking for someone who is meticulous in their work and has a sense of service with customer and patient safety in focus. As a person, you are confident and secure in your profession and positive in your attitude towards your colleagues as well as other partners. The work in the sterile processing department/transporter role is physically demanding, involving a lot of walking and standing, as well as many heavy lifts. A preference for physical work is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A valid Category B driver's license is required.

We service the hospital's surgical department, inpatient wards, clinics, as well as health centers in the northern part of the county and several external customers.
