About the Position

Do you want an independent and meaningful job where you really make a difference, right in the middle of one of Sweden's most beautiful coastal municipalities? We are now looking for an engaged nurse for home care in Mönsterås for the summer.

Here, you work close to the patient in their home environment, with varied tasks and significant personal responsibility, alongside a competent and supportive team. The shift towards close care means that more and more interventions today take place in the patient's home, giving the work a broad clinical focus that you rarely find in one place.

Responsibilities

As a nurse in home care, you work with planned and acute interventions in the patient's home. The work is independent but takes place in close collaboration with colleagues and the care staff closest to the patient. You also collaborate closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and regional physicians.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Healthcare interventions at home
• Medication management
• Assessments, follow-ups, and to some extent telephone advice
• Mentoring and delegation to care staff
• Palliative care
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers

We use Lifecare and Cosmic Link for documentation and record keeping. Experience with these systems is an advantage, but we always offer a thorough introduction.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse
• Experience in home care, SÄBO (specialized housing for the elderly), palliative, dementia, or primary care is meritorious, but personal confidence in the professional role weighs heaviest
• Category B driver's license required (manual transmission)

Employment Terms

Type of employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.

Individual salary setting applies. Salary range: 36,000 - 50,000 SEK/month. The position is suitable for both newly graduated and experienced nurses – the salary is set based on your total experience and competence within the healthcare field.

Working hours: The position is scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
