We are now looking for 2 Assistant Nurses for our OF Pool Team. As an assistant nurse within care for people with disabilities (OF), you will work throughout the municipality in various operations, including personal assistance and support teams. Each employee serves approximately 10–15 different workplaces. The pool group as a whole meets regularly.

An extra pool allowance and travel compensation are provided between home and the workplaces. The travel compensation applies from the border of Oskarshamn Municipality if you live in another municipality. We work according to annual working hours, which gives you the opportunity to influence your working days according to set guidelines and involves working hours during the day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee in the OF Pool Team, you work in all operations within OF. During a work shift, you may work in several different operations as needs dictate. In the support team, you work, among other things, in homes to provide relief for families, as well as accompanying various individuals within the target group. Within personal assistance, you work in the person's home.

The work involves providing support, service, and nursing care to individuals based on an individually formulated implementation plan. You help with nursing care, leisure activities, cooking, and household chores. We work according to the Support and Service Act (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and health care interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

You meet different people who need your commitment, flexibility, and creativity to thrive in social interaction. You are invited to be part of other people's lives, while also being able to influence your own work to some extent. You have the opportunity to give others quality of life, good and close care, and security, and you yourself have the opportunity to develop as a person in humble meetings with others.

We work, among other things, with low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and sign support. Heavy lifting and solo work occur.

Qualifications

• Educated assistant nurse or other background assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• Meritorious: Specialist assistant nurse education and experience in the OF area (personal assistance and support teams).
• Good knowledge of the LSS legislation.
• Category B driver's license and access to a private car are required.
• Good computer skills and good proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing (important for documentation).
