For Home Care Middle Långlöt/Rälla, we are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or care assistant (vårdbiträde) and want to contribute to creating quality of life and meaning for the care recipients who receive services from home care. Home Care Middle is based at Ekbacka in central Borgholm and serves care recipients from Borgholm down to the municipal border. Within our work group, we are divided into smaller units where we work based on a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, focusing on continuity and quality in our work to provide good care and support.

We are in an exciting phase of development where we are developing our operations through welfare technology. We have, for example, introduced medication dispensers, giving you the opportunity to be part of the future of home care. We have also begun implementing "Trygg hemma" (Safe at Home).

Job Responsibilities

Working within care and support means that you truly make a difference in other people's daily lives. As a nursing assistant/care assistant in home care, you have varied tasks and work according to a rehabilitative approach where the care recipient's needs and life situation determine how tasks are performed. Based on individual decisions on support, you shall assist people who have been granted home care services to manage their daily living. Care recipients may need help with, for example, personal care, social activities, service tasks, and medication management.

The responsibilities also include being a fixed care contact, creating and following up on implementation plans, and documenting in the Lifecare journal system. Collaboration in cross-professional teams is a large part of your work, as is independent work where you take personal responsibility.

We use digital work tools where we, among other things, register visits, sign for medications, and document. You work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), but also perform health and medical care tasks (HSL tasks) after delegation from licensed personnel.

Working hours are distributed across days, evenings, and weekends. You have the opportunity to propose your own schedule within the work group within given frameworks.

Before an employment offer is made, a driver's license, valid ID (passport), and an extract from the police's criminal record register ("Extract for work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities") must be presented. This is done as a final step in the recruitment process.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Are trained as a nursing assistant or care assistant.
  • Have a B driver's license.
  • Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Have a genuine interest in working with people and can meet each individual based on their individual needs and wishes.
  • Are positive, flexible, have a respectful and professional attitude, and good teamwork skills.
  • Work according to a rehabilitative approach.
  • Take responsibility for your tasks, take initiative, and show engagement.
  • Have the required computer skills, preferably experience with Lifecare.

Meritorious experience:

  • Experience with Senior Alert, BPSD.
  • Experience working in Lifecare.
