We are now looking for a case handler with a focus on investigation, analysis, and handling of equipment subject to export control requirements. The role also involves working with the regulations governing export control within the Swedish Armed Forces administration.
As a case handler within export control, you will become part of a growing and important business area. Here you will have the opportunity to work with complex issues while contributing to the Swedish Armed Forces' material, organizational, and operational growth. With your analytical skills and ability to collaborate, you will become a key person in our work to ensure that export control requirements are handled correctly and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you are responsible for implementing policies, routines, and working methods within the export control area. You work at a central and strategic level with the direction, management, and follow-up of the Swedish Armed Forces' export control activities.
The tasks include, among other things:
- Providing preparatory support to managers, system leaders, and production coordinators within the combat forces and defense branches.
- Participating in or leading working groups within the business area.
- Conducting training related to export control and classification work.
- Participating in auditing, quality control, and further development of processes.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Current and relevant academic education in engineering, law, or equivalent competence/education that can be assessed as equivalent.
- Current and relevant experience in handling large amounts of data in complex technical systems.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits
- Current and relevant knowledge of and/or experience with export control activities within companies or agencies.
- Experience from classification within military equipment and dual-use products (PDA).
- CECM, Certified Export Control Manager via the Swedish Export Control Association.
- Experience in legal work and interpretation of laws and regulations.
- Good knowledge of technical English.
- Experience in process development.
- Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces and its IT systems.
- Experience in developing and conducting technical training.
- Experience working with customs regulations.

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period

Work location: Stockholm
Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
Travel may occur in the position.

The Chief of Defence and the Director General are located at Headquarters. Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of 2023-01-01, Headquarters consists of the Defence Staff, the Operations Command, the Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as Headquarters' Staff Department and independent units for supervision.
An employment with us implies placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
