You will work closely with cutting-edge technology in electronic warfare, advanced sensor systems, and signal processing. Here, you develop FPGA-based solutions for real-time critical systems where robustness, performance, and reliability are crucial. You are involved throughout the entire development chain, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, verification, and integration.

• You design and develop FPGA-based systems for electronic warfare applications and advanced signal processing.
• You implement and verify functionality in VHDL for real-time critical systems.
• You test solutions in simulation tools and on physical hardware to ensure high quality and performance.
• You optimize FPGA design with a focus on robustness, resource efficiency, reliability, and long lifespan.
• You work on integration between RF systems, digital signal processing, and hardware.
• You troubleshoot, analyze, and solve complex technical problems in development and test environments.
• You participate in technical reviews and design reviews and contribute to continuous improvements of development processes and working methods.
• You collaborate closely with cross-functional and agile teams to drive development forward.

• University degree in electronics, technical physics, computer engineering, or a corresponding field.
• Experience in the RF domain from, for example, the defense industry, telecommunications, or other operations with advanced radio systems.
• Practical experience with FPGA or ASIC development.
• Very good knowledge of VHDL.
• Experience with FPGA platforms from AMD (Xilinx) or Intel (formerly Altera).
• Experience with verification, simulation, and testing of digital hardware.
• Good understanding of digital electronics and hardware-level development.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Experience with digital signal processing (DSP).
• Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or sensor systems.
• Experience with hardware-level programming and embedded systems.
• Experience with Embedded Linux or real-time systems.
• Experience with Python, Java, or other scripting languages for automation and testing.
• Experience with Configuration Management and version control tools, such as Git.
• Experience with model-based development and verification methodologies.
• Experience working in security-classified or regulatorily governed development environments.
