On behalf of our client, Toptemp is now looking for an Electrical Drafter for an installation company with strong confidence in the future within power, DC charging, and energy solutions.

About the Client

Our client is an established installation company in West Sweden with broad competence in electrical installations, power solutions, and energy-related projects. The operations are characterized by a high technical level, close collaboration between drafting and installation, and a strong customer focus.

The company is in a development and growth phase and is now strengthening its technical function with increased focus on drafting, engineering, and documentation to meet the demand in upcoming projects.

This is a recruitment assignment – Toptemp manages the process, but the employment is directly with the end client.

Location: Uddevalla or Trollhättan.

About the Role

In the role of Electrical Drafter, you will have a central and important function in the company's project operations. You will work closely with installers, project managers, and customers, and be responsible for producing clear, accurate, and professional drawing documentation for electrical installations. The focus is on engineering and drafting, but the role is broad and offers opportunities for development alongside the business over time.

Responsibilities

• Creation of complete drawing documentation for electrical installations
• Create system drawings and installation drawings for the company's projects
• Engineering within DC charging, energy storage, as well as low- and high-voltage installations
• Prepare technical documentation for quotations and calculations
• Preparation of relationship documents (as-built documentation)
• Collaboration with the installation team during implementation and commissioning
• Dialogue with customers and suppliers regarding technical documentation

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant technical education in electrical power, electrical engineering, or construction
• Experience in electrical drafting and electrical design
• Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD or similar)
• Experience with sizing in software such as Febdok, Elvis, Netkoll, or equivalent
• Good understanding of electrical installations and current standards
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with calculation programs such as Bidcon
• Knowledge of Excel and Bluebeam
• Experience with single-line diagrams or switchgear drawings
• Previous work close to installation or contracting
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (University or University College level)
