We receive patients via referral as well as private individuals in need of prostheses, orthoses, and orthopedic shoes or inserts. Ottobock Care in Stockholm is located in Bergshamra, Södertälje, Norrtälje, Dala Hospital, and Danderyd Hospital. We have approximately 65 employees with various competencies. Ottobock Care currently has agreements with Region Stockholm to provide comprehensive orthopedic technology and rehabilitation for amputees. We work with all types of orthopedic technical aids, and our work is carried out in close collaboration with healthcare through, for example, team cooperation.

About the Role

Here, you work together with your colleagues to improve the quality of life for people with functional impairments by enhancing their mobility and independence. We work with all types of orthopedic technical aids, ranging from individually adapted footbeds to orthoses and prostheses. The foundation of our operations is our collaboration with other healthcare personnel and specialist teams.

The position is full-time with a location in Bergshamra. The start date is immediate. We have a collective agreement.

About You

We are looking for you who have a qualified university college degree in Orthopedic Technology (400 YH credits) and/or practical experience in manufacturing specially adapted aids using prepreg, lamination, and thermoplastics. You are proficient in both Swedish and English and have good computer skills.

You have a good ability to plan, organize, and structure your work while meeting deadlines. You can turn ideas into practical action. You are proactive, perform your work independently, and take responsibility for your tasks. You drive your own processes and ensure they are completed. You are solution-oriented; when a problem arises, you focus your energy on finding solutions while keeping the goal in sight.

A professional approach towards customers, suppliers, and partners is second nature to you in your professional role.
