About the job
As a Specialist Nurse Assistant (Specialistundersköterska), you play a key role in the operations, contributing advanced competence, support, and supervision to both residents and colleagues. You work closely with other professions in a team and are involved in developing quality, working methods, and care based on each resident's individual needs and conditions.
We are looking for Specialist Nurse Assistants for both somatic and dementia-focused units.
Responsibilities
The role includes, among other things:
- Working person-centered, focusing on the resident's needs, participation, and life story.
- Contributing specialist knowledge to care work and complex situations.
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues in daily work.
- Collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other professions.
- Participating in quality and development work to strengthen the operations.
- Creating safety, structure, and a meaningful everyday life for residents.
- Working with documentation and quality registers according to current routines.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is educated as a Nurse Assistant (Undersköterska).
- Has a Specialist Nurse Assistant education of 200 YH credits, with relevant specialization within elderly care, dementia, or another equivalent specialization.
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
- Has good computer skills.

Working hours vary based on the needs of the operations.
Start date by agreement.
Interviews are conducted continuously during the recruitment period.
For positions requiring a license/valid proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title, this must be submitted prior to employment.
Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can become relevant.
Police record checks are conducted for all employment within the Social Services Administration.
For employment within HVB (Home for Care or Supervision) operations, an extract from the HVB register is requested.
For employment within operations targeting children with disabilities, extracts regarding "children with disabilities" and a control of own data are requested.
For other employment within the Social Services Administration, an extract regarding "Control of own data" is requested.
If the extract is not digital, it must be brought in an unopened envelope in connection with the control.

Employment is subject to necessary decisions being made. For positions where the work involves direct and regular contact with children and young people, as well as for operations within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), care and social services, healthcare, psychiatric care, and addiction care, a valid extract from the police record register must be shown or submitted prior to employment.
