Description

LSS refers to the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. In Hällefors, the functional support consists of four group homes, day activities, and personal assistance. We work with adults who have physical and mental disabilities and who need support and help in their daily lives.

We are looking for dedicated and responsible employees who want to become part of our team at Svalan and provide our users with the support they need to live as independent and active a life as possible. Job Responsibilities

• Support and assist users with care, cooking, shopping, and other daily tasks.
• Provide support during leisure and social activities.
• Perform health and nursing tasks as delegated.
• Work together with colleagues to create a safe and structured daily life for the users.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have education from the Care and Nursing Programme.
• Have the ability to work in a structured manner and meet each individual with empathy and respect.
• Have good teamwork skills.
• Are flexible and stress-resistant.
• Are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Hold a B driving license.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Relevant vocational higher education degree or university education in the field.
• Experience working with people with disabilities, especially autism.
• Education in alternative communication, special education, or low-affective handling.
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term contract (100%) from September 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. We conduct rolling selections, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Working hours are scheduled and may vary between day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. We offer a good sense of community and opportunities for development within a future-oriented profession.

Interviews and appointments are conducted on a rolling basis. Before employment, a valid extract from the criminal record register must be presented.
