We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist for a company in Karlskrona. Start is ASAP, initially a 4-month fixed-term assignment with the possibility of extension. This role is 100% onsite in Karlskrona.

In this role, you are responsible for the facility's health and safety work and ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines, and certification standards. You coordinate risk assessments, preventive measures, system improvements, and reporting in close collaboration with operations and external authorities. The role combines strategic and operational work with a focus on creating a secure and legal working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure compliance with current occupational health and safety legislation, internal standards, and ISO 45001
• Responsible for the facility's risk management, including risk assessments, corrective actions, and incident follow-up
• Support and guide operations regarding occupational health and safety requirements, documentation, and routines
• Monitor and report key figures and trends within health and safety
• Participate in audits, certifications, and continuous improvement work within occupational health and safety

The position is located in Karlskrona and involves close collaboration with both internal functions and external authorities.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with health and safety in manufacturing or industrial operations
• Good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation and relevant authority requirements
• Experience with risk assessments, occupational health and safety plans, and corrective action processes
• Experience with management systems, preferably according to ISO 45001
• Experience with incident investigations and occupational health and safety reporting
• Experience collaborating with authorities or certification bodies is an advantage
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English
