About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 70-year-old man living in Mora. The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good physical fitness
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Tolerance for pets
• Calm and responsible demeanor

Merits for the position:

• Experience in similar work
• Share the customer's interest in flowers
• Valid B-class driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The current form of employment is "For the duration of the assignment," and the position is approximately 37% starting in September. The role involves working during varying hours during the day/evening (08:00-21:00) or night (20:30-08:50) with 4 hours of on-call duty.

There is also a shorter interim position starting immediately until week 30 on a part-time basis, with a possible extension.

We are also looking for assistants for a schedule coverage of approximately 90% during the summer, weeks 26-33.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
