About the position
Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, your main task will be to help the client with everyday occurrences and basic needs. The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good chemistry between you and the client.
We are now looking for you who:
want to work with a woman in her 70s living in Krylbo
have good knowledge of Swedish
have a B driver's license and access to your own car (to commute to work)
can work in homes with fur-bearing animals (the client has a cat)
The following qualifications are meritorious for the position:
previous experience working with dementia, MS, or aphasia
previous experience using mobility aids, e.g., floor lift
Personal suitability will be given great weight.
Working hours, employment percentage, and salary
The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying hours during the day and evening. Working hours are scheduled between 09:00 and 21:00, both on weekdays and weekends. There is also the possibility of a summer schedule with a few shifts per month.
Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
What we offer
At Humana, it is important that both you as an assistant and the client feel secure in the collaboration. Therefore, as a new assistant, you will receive an introduction adapted to both the professional role and the client you will be working with. You will also have access to relevant training and opportunities to develop in your role – ensuring you have good conditions to thrive and feel secure in your work. Humana has a collective agreement, insurance, and wellness benefits.
