Personal Assistant for 4-Year-Old Boy with Complex Needs

Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance for individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) or SFB (Special Support for Education) acts. About the Young Person

I am a 4-year-old boy living with my mom, dad, and older brother. I am looking for secure and caring personal assistants who want to be an important part of my daily life.

I have active assistance around the clock, so you must be present as an assistant. It is important that you can follow routines and job descriptions, but also adapt to how I am feeling on any given day. When I am feeling well, it is important that I receive the right stimulation, activities, and opportunities for play.

I need full physical support in all tasks. My care needs include, among other things, nursing care, inhalation, BiPAP/Airvo, tube feeding (gastrostomy), and medication. As an assistant, you need to be able to read my well-being, my signals, and my body language.

About You

You are calm, secure, responsible, and have a warm approach. You have a genuine interest in making my daily life secure and meaningful. Previous experience as a personal assistant is advantageous, but personal suitability weighs the most.

The work takes place in my home, where my family also lives. You need to have a good ability to balance working with me while also maintaining a good relationship with the rest of my family, becoming a natural part of our family's daily life.

Working with Children

Work with children with disabilities is subject to requirements for register checks according to the Act (2010:479) on register checks of personnel who perform certain interventions for children with disabilities.

An extract from the criminal record must be presented as a final step in the recruitment process before employment can become a possibility.
