Are you a service-oriented, solution-driven, and business-minded buyer who thrives in an international environment? We are now looking for a Project and Spare Parts Buyer for an exciting operation where you will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure deliveries to ongoing projects and contracts.
About the RoleAs a Project and Spare Parts Buyer, you will have broad operational purchasing responsibilities with a focus on ensuring the availability of spare parts and related deliveries. The role demands high standards of quality, problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to act quickly in an operation where delivery security is crucial.
You will work in close collaboration with strategic procurement, procurement quality, engineering, and other functions to create long-term sustainable supplier relationships and ensure efficient supply chains.
Responsibilities- Responsible for purchasing spare parts and related packages based on operational needs.
- Create and administer purchase orders.
- Monitor deliveries and follow up on supplier performance.
- Handle invoices and related purchasing processes.
- Work with issues related to export control.
- Review and analyze cost data from suppliers.
- Provide continuous feedback to the business regarding delivery status and supplier issues.
- Actively participate in improvement and development work within the purchasing function.
The role entails end-to-end responsibility throughout the purchasing process – from needs identification and ordering to delivery, follow-up, and supplier development.

To succeed in the role, you are structured, communicative, and accustomed to collaborating with different functions to achieve common goals.
Qualifications- Experience in operational purchasing.
- Relevant post-secondary education.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in purchasing within aircraft maintenance, defense industry, pharmaceutical industry, or other regulated operations.
- Experience with or interest in export control.
- Experience with the business system IFS.
For this position, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance and background check according to current security requirements. Swedish citizenship may be required depending on the security classification of the assignment.
