About the Role
We are now looking for a temporary support assistant for our day activity centre under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups). Day activities are aimed at people with disabilities who need support to have a meaningful and developmental occupation in their daily lives. At our centre, we work to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites.

Responsibilities
As a support assistant, you work closely with the participants and provide individual support in their daily activities. The role involves creating structure, motivation, and participation in various tasks and activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting participants in tasks and activities
- Planning and implementing meaningful occupations
- Working based on implementation plans
- Documenting according to current legislation and routines
- Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals
The role requires a pedagogical and respectful approach where the participants' self-determination and integrity are central.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has education within care and support, support assistant, child and youth activities, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Has experience working with people with disabilities
- Has a pedagogical and structured way of working
- Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- Has a valid B-class driver's license
Personal suitability is highly valued. Merits include experience working within LSS, knowledge of low-arousal approaches, and experience with social documentation.
Employment Conditions
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment
- Duration: 6 months or longer
- Salary: 25,000 – 30,000 SEK/month (individual salary setting based on experience and competence)
