We are specialists in financial management for housing cooperatives, community associations, and property owners. With digital tools and personal service, we make it easier for boards to keep track of finances, make the right decisions, and plan for the long term. We have approximately 80 employees and are located in both Östersund and Uppsala. Our customers are located throughout Sweden, totaling around 1,300, with the majority being housing cooperatives.

We are now looking for a Startup Manager who wants to help ensure a secure and professional transition for our new customers, from the first meeting to a functioning management.
About Simpleko
Simpleko is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Riksbyggen specializing in financial management. We deliver services to approximately 1,350 customers – primarily housing cooperatives – across Sweden, and our delivery is entirely digital. We have approximately 80 employees distributed across two offices, one in Uppsala and one in Östersund.
About the role
As a Startup Manager, you will become part of our startup team consisting of five employees. The team is responsible for ensuring that new customers have a smooth start with us and that the handover to the management team is of high quality.
We have had the industry's happiest customers for three years in a row, and in this role, you are an important part of continuing to deliver on that promise.
You are responsible for the customer's startup journey from when the management agreement is signed until the finances are reconciled, the management is fully functional, and ready to be handed over. The startup period can vary between approximately 3–12 months.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and drive startup projects for new customers
- Collect and quality-assure documentation from previous managers
- Ensure correct migration of financial data and agreements
- Communicate with boards, previous managers, and internal teams for a secure transition
- Responsible for ongoing financial management for up to one year after management start
- Document and further develop our startup process
We are looking for you who:
- Have experience in financial management, preferably within housing cooperatives and/or community associations
- Preferably have experience with board work in housing cooperatives and/or community associations
- Have very good knowledge of financial accounting and apartment registers
- Are structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and can adapt your language to the situation and recipient
- Enjoy working in an administrative, coordinating, and customer-facing role
- Are accustomed to working digitally and have good IT skills
- Enjoy working in an environment where the pace is sometimes high and priorities can change quickly
- Have a genuine interest in quality, customer relations, and improvement work

Working hours
Regular working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00 with the possibility of flexible hours. During the period June 15–September 15, working hours are 08:00–16:00. We offer a flexible work life with the possibility of remote work up to 50% of working hours by agreement.
