Start as Sales Manager and grow with Coop - we are looking for you with leadership experience!
Do you want to be part of realizing Coop's vision to develop Sweden's best food chain? Right now, one of Sweden's highest-grossing stores is looking for strong, value-driven leaders who want to grow with us at Coop.
Coop is on an exciting journey of change with a focus on growth, sustainability, health, and customer experience. We are looking for you who are flexible, open, and willing to relocate, and who want to be part of an organization where people, joy of food, and social benefit are at the center.
Your role as Sales Manager
As Sales Manager for the Hall in Stora Coop Lund, you have a central and business-critical role in one of Coop's largest units. You lead a department with approximately 60–70 employees and have extensive responsibility for both operations, structure, and results. You are part of the store's management team and, together with the rest of the team, share responsibility for the business plan, sales, and results. We want you to have a burning interest and previous experience in food and leadership, as well as an interest in following food trends. We see that you think outside the box and dare to inspire joy of food.
The role places high demands on clear, present, and coaching leadership, where you create structure in everyday life, drive development, and ensure efficient operations. You have overall responsibility for your employees, which means you work broadly throughout the entire employee journey – from understanding the business's needs and recruiting the right competence, to leading, developing, and following up on both individuals and teams. The most central aspect of the job involves leading and coaching your employees to create a good work environment. The role also offers the opportunity to temporarily take on acting responsibility for the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
Customers in our stores should not only be met with good products at good prices; we also want them to experience food inspiration, interesting events, surprises, and not least, good personal service from all our staff every day. Real success is built on the fact that we love our jobs and show genuine care and joy for our customers!
In addition, the following tasks are included in your role:
- Budget, follow-up & forecasts, and monitoring local action plans based on set key figures
- Ensure that laws, regulations, agreements & policies are followed in the store
- Implement central initiatives & decisions
- Follow and improve local and central routines
- Leadership with the customer in focus
- Lead, coach & develop employees, and identify talents
- Conduct and follow up on employee meetings and goal-setting meetings
- Work with Coop's shared values and culture
- Quality work, SAM (Systematic Work Environment) and SBA (Systematic Fire Safety Work)

Coop is unique! It is easy to think that all grocery stores are the same. Same products on the shelves, same shopping carts, and the checkout at the exit. But Coop is different because we are owned by our 3.5 million members. That is what makes us unique. It also gives us an extra large responsibility, but also extra large opportunities.
Coop is one of Sweden's largest employers, and we are driven by the mission to give everyone access to good food. We are on an exciting journey to become the good force in Swedish food. We should simplify everyday life and give everyone access to good raw materials – something that is good for both body, soul, and our environment.
Coop has long been at the forefront and realized the importance of ecological thinking. Our fish is certified, chickens are free-range, and our own brand Änglamark has been named Sweden's Greenest Brand - but our journey does not end there.
Together with our employees, we work every day with our customers to continue to be the best in sustainable development, and now we are investing even more in spreading joy of food and more love for good raw materials.
Together we can and must become the good force in Swedish food!
Coop values qualities such as an even age and gender distribution, as well as ethnic and cultural diversity, which add to the business.
